About Sylvania Lark
Sylvania Lark is the musical art-rock project led by Mister Koppa of The Heavy Duty Press. The band formed in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 2002, out of a collective of amateur musician-friends who commonly gathered for improv jams in the basement recording studio at the notorious Koppa's Farwell Foods grocery store. Organized to record a handful of songs written by Koppa and publish them privately, in style (via The Heavy Duty Press), the band managed to put together enough material to publish two EPs in addition to the full length cd
