About Sweet October
'Sweet October' (also known as 'sweetoctober') was an ambient solo project by russian poet, songwriter, novelist & former M.C. J. A. Sherman (a.k.a. MaxDon). This author gained some fame in 2007, when a pirated demo version of a longplay called 'New English Ballads' was released on the Internet. Sung a cappella with minimalist accompaniment and recorded at home studio, the original tunes reflected Sherman's fascination with country music and can now be found under the mononym 'J.Blackfield'.
