Sweet Laredo are: Sarah J. Scott and Dan W. Coggins They met in London where Bristolian Sarah had gone to learn things and multi-instrumentalist Dan was on a foray down from the Durham hills. Finding a shared love of soul,jazz,blues and hip-hop they began to collaborate on smoked-out,beats-driven tunes. These were then stripped back to be played only on a battered old spanish guitar giving full reign to Sarah's incredible voice which veers wildly between the gutsy blues moan of Etta James and the smoked-out rasps of Eryka Badu.
