About Svain
Svain was a locally very influential band, formed in early 2000s in Hlinsko, Czech Republic. It performed only for a few years, but was able to create many compositions, some of them hours long. Their style can be described as neo art rock, a name suggested by the band's frontman Rudolf Pospíšil. But some of their fans named it "Pink Floyd multiplied by 10", referring to the excessive length of the band's compositions. They broke up in 2005 after one of the band's members was physically attacked by Rudolf Pospíšil.
