About Supratik Sengupta
Born in a family having a long tradition of North Indian classical music, sitarist Supratik Sengupta started training at the age of five under Late Biswanath Das. He was guided by his father - vocalist Shri Kuber Sengupta, disciple of the legendary Late Sangeet Acharya Tarapada Chakrovorty. Heavily inspired by the performance style of Shri Deboprosad Chakrovorti (AIR Grade A artiste), Supratik trained under him for a couple of years.
