About Supporting Actress
Supporting Actress were a three-piece indie/math rock band from Normal, Illinois, active between 1995 and 1997. They released two 7" EPs (one a split with the band Sarge) in 1995 and a full-length CD entitled "Playing the Part" on Playing Field Records in 1997. Bassist Neil Sandler later reissued "Playing the Part" digitally on his own Shakefork Records in 2017. The following year, Shakefork digitally reissued the band's debut 7", "An Elegant Tease with Report", with additional tracks.
