About Sunships
Born of California natives Travis Kirby and Roy Johnson, Sunships is the direct result of their transplantation from Berkeley, CA to Oympia, WA over the summer of 2009. In October 2009 the band began work on what would become their debut release, The Parachute Never Opened. On March 24, 2010 the band released the album for free download online. It can still be found at http://sunships.pressuretestrec.com.
