About SummerKey
SummerKey was created in 2008 by two musicians from Karelia. Aleks Zubkerman and Katja Nyuppieva have been members of the band Olemba in Petrozavodsk, working in synthezising of traditional Karelian singing and instrumental music and modern musical tecniques. Aleks was also playing experimental music with wide space of electronic equipment. Since he played for a long time Russian balalaika, he made a design of electrobalalaika - an unique instrument made for him in 2005 by special order.
