About Submissives
The Submissives were an American punk rock band from Portland, OR from 1996 to 1997. The band comprised three of the biggest names in the American hardcore scene: Pig Champion (Tom Roberts) from Poison Idea, Dave Dictor from MDC, and Steve Andrews from Naked Violence. Their songs were almost exclusively about BDSM, specifically men wanting to be dominated by women. After Pig's passing, Dave Dictor said of the project in a 2007 interview: "It was a glorious and fabulous project out on Honest Don’s Records
