About Strokkur
The idea of forming STROKKUR came from Anders Johansson (ex Hammerfall, ex Malmsteen) . His sons Kalle Johansson and Niklas Johansson carries on the musical legacy that the Johansson family have become known for and they are highly skilled musicians and songwriters. They decided to create a unique band with focus on Nordic melodies and more straight forward industrial kind of metal with lots of hooklines. In summer 2016 Anders called leadsinger MikeAndersson (Cloudscape, Fullforce) up and asked him if he would like to join the band.
