About String Shift
String Shift was founded in 2013 by Ed Stevens, a cellist with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic, and Charlie Witkowski, a marketing executive from Chicago. Being lifelong friends, Charlie and Ed worked together to create a new concept for live performance in the Fort Wayne area. The idea was to explore a fresh take on the concert experience combining some of the best music from today and yesterday along with the world-class talent of musicians from the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
