About Strayfolk
The band appeared in primordial form in Umeå, northern Sweden sometime close after the turn of the millennium. Quite early in its development it abandoned the cold forests of the north for the rainy harbors of Gothenburg in the south-west. The long journey southwards wore the band down to only two components. It was only after that the band could recovered and begin to grow, and it has continued to do so ever since. Now it counts eight heads and has had to move to larger spaces.
