About Strangled Dog Troubadours
Strangled Dog Troubadours started in the bottom of an empty swimming pool, or in the music room of a school. Nobody knows exactly. What is known is that two classmates that shared a love for music met up and created some improvised songs -- Indigo Ambrosius playing a piano and Ole Johnny Stensland singing and banging on whatever was available. This was sometime in the mid-nineties, when both of them were in sixth grade. A double demo tape was recorded (mostly in the empty music room, some in that pool) and never released.
