The Strange Creek Singers were a traditional folk and Appalachian music ensemble active in the late 1960s and early 1970s who released their eponymous album, Strange Creek Singers, in 1972. The Singers formed from Appalachian music duo Alice Gerrard (credited as Alice Seeger after marrying Mike Seeger in 1970) and Hazel Dickens, with the addition of Tracy Schwarz and Mike Seeger of The New Lost City Ramblers, and the Scruggs-style American bluegrass banjo player Lamar Grier completed the lineup.
