In hip-hop terms, Stoopz n' Breeze are a rather eccentric duo. Their first LP, "Turn Up The Smooth", is a concept album crafted around the 1980s Miami drug culture, and even though they come from the Detroit area, their humourous reconstruction of this lifestyle is not that far off. Guns, drugs, women, and celebrities, Stoopz, the man behind the beats, and Breeze, the lyricist, create a laidback vibe that is equally satiric and serious. Regardless of the tone, their creativity is unique and their concepts are uncommon.
