Stompy Jones is a San Francisco-based stomp jazz group, mostly known for its renditions of great small-combo jazz tunes from the '40s through the early '60s. The lead vocalist of the band was the loveable personality-filled "Pops," who, unfortunately has had recent health issues that has caused him to stop performing with the group. However, his vocal style can still be heard on most of the group's albums.
