About StevieRay Latham
BBC Young Folk Award nominee StevieRay Latham has been singing self-penned folk tunes ever since his uncle gave him a beat up old electric guitar. Aged about 12, riding in his Dad's car, he heard a song called 'Heartland Feeling' on a mix-tape that inspired him to write songs similar, songs with a message. Peter Bruntnell recorded StevieRay singing in his basement one night and, choosing ten tracks, StevieRay printed some copies and called the record 'Modern Attitudes'.
