
Steven Bergdall is a jazz composer and pianist currently based in Tucson, AZ. Major influences include composer/pianists Bill Evans, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Thelonious Monk, Bud Powell, and John Lewis, as well as guitarists Jim Hall and Wes Montgomery and saxophonists Sonny Rollins and Paul Desmond. Before relocating to Tucson, Steven studied with legendary Indianapolis pianist Claude Sifferlen, and performed with the 25th Century Ensemble led by bassist Max Hartstein.
