About Steve Martin Caro
Carmelo Esteban Martin Caro, professionally known as Steve Martin Caro (born 12 October 1948 - died 14 January 2020), was an American singer, songwriter, guitarist and drummer. He was a member of the baroque pop band The Left Banke in the 1960s and, as a musician, originally went by the name Steve Martin. He added his family surname Caro in the 1980s to avoid confusion with the comedian and movie star of the same name. He was a son of flamenco guitarist/vocalist Sarita Heredia.
