About Steve Haskin
Steve Haskin has been a professional guitarist in the Twin Cities since 1979. He began his study of guitar at age fourteen with Michael Fowler in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Steve continued his studies with Fowler at the University of Tulsa from which he graduated in 1978. Steve moved to the Twin Cities a year later and studied guitar at the University of Minnesota with James McGuire. He later studied with Alan Johnston for three years. Alan is a student of José Thomas and currently heads the guitar department at MacPhail Center for the Arts.
