There are two artists named Steve Carter. 1. Emerging from the Bergen County coffeehouse circuit, Steve Carter is musician from Mahwah, NJ. Currently in the Escape Directors, he has performed with Carter & Bertone, Darrin Bradbury, and The Sloppy Horse, Big Wilson River, and many others. 2. Steve Carter has been in the music business since graduating in 1980. Having lectured to degree students in popular contemporary music whilst also working as a session musician in London
