About Steve Bemand
Born in Hereford UK 1958 learned piano, trombone and guitar by age 12. Parents Bob & Barbara were keen musicians and Steve was given lessons in these instruments achieving grades. Head boy in Kington church choir and Hereford Cathedral as a Chorister, got a guitar age 12 and played with local group The Mobos doing events around Norton Canon with his Mum & friends. Formed Whisky Mac a Folk-Rock band on guitar/mandolin/vocals with Will Thomas-accordian/fiddle/vocals, Clive Norman on bass & vocals and Jamie-Mandolin.
