Steget is a Swedish piano pop duo from Gothenburg. The duo consists of Matilda Sjöström and Nils Dahl and was formed in 2008. Steget was formed as a piano pop duo by Matilda Sjöström and Nils Dahl in Gothenburg in 2008. The duo was formed when Sjöström, who was previously part of the duo Äkta kärlek together with Stina Velocette, wanted to start writing more of her own music. She contacted Dahl, who at the time was in the band Kultiration
