About Stefano Romerio
Guitarist-composer Stefano Romerio was born May 17, 1970, in Lugano, Switzerland. He began playing pop music at an early age, working with local bands – notably La Cosca, with whom he toured Southern Europe and performed in such legendary Swiss clubs as Atlantis in Basel and the Bern’s Bierhuebeli. Soon, however, pop fell by the wayside as Romerio discovered his real passion: jazz and its great masters. Relocating to Bern, he attended the renowned Swiss Jazz School.
