Steel Rod Penetration project is the working stage name for Daytona Beach-based indie experimental musicians and sisters, Mary and Cary Marcous. Having played guitar for collectively over a full week now, Cary Marcous is one of the world's most prominent 5-string, untuned guitarists with a musical philosophy explaining that, "Basically, I spend most of the time looking for a chord, any chord. And if I can't find one, I just wing it. In most of our studio and unreleased recordings, listeners tend to notice that I've wung it pretty cleverly.
