About Steampacket
The Steampacket for UK group. Steampacket was a Swedish 60's pop group. They made eight singes. The members went to Solbacka läroverk in Stjärnhov (private boarding, now closed ) . Rolf Scherrer (vcl), Mikael Ramel vcl/ gtr), Staffan Winbergh (drums) , Stefan Ekeström (bass). Anders Nord (organ). In the UK they called themself The Longboatmen. For the British blues revue of the 1960s, the artist name is The Steampacket notable mainly for the fact that so many of its members subsequently became famous later on.
