Stars Of The Curfew is Bill Broun, who writes and records his electro-tinged brand of indie-pop band in Easton, Pennsylvania, about an hour's drive west of New York City. While Broun does not eschew the video-game bleeps and retro-chic of traditional electropop, he also tries to weave in decidedly warmer, more earthy tonalities. At the same time, he feels it's OK sometimes to allow spontaneous, messier mixes that preserve the magic of live performance to survive the mixdown process.
