About Stand-Up Guy
Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Stand-Up Guy were formed in 2000. Consisting of two guitarists, Ian Booth & Paul McClure, who both provide vocals, bassist Philip Donnelly and drummer Conor Mullan, S-UG's music has lead to comparisons of Will Haven, Neurosis and Deftones. The band released a first album 'In fixation, Conspire' in 2004 and in June 2007 they released their second album 'Avenue Unawares', both have been released on distortion project records
