Stairs to Nowhere is a 4 piece band from Amsterdam who plays music described as beatific trash music. It’s played loud, original, tight and with a liveshow that has the intensity of, as the band likes to call it, “a cat duct-taped to a burning violin”. They have met many stages in the netherlands and have gained nation-wide publicity with their illegal "concert" in the half-demolished legendary Vredenburg concerthall. The album "adieu delicate atheist" has been hailed as one of the best albums of 2008 by the dutch press.
