About SportsRadio 1310 The Ticket
The Ticket is an AM sports talk radio station in Dallas founded in late January 1994. It is a mix of sports and guy talk, with a "yuk monkey" staffed on the drive-time shows. The long-standing core lineup is: 5:30-10 AM: The Gentle Musers 10-noon: Norm Hitzges noon-3 PM: BAD Radio 3-7 PM : The Hardline In addition to a yuk monkey, they also make liberal use of "drops" to keep the mood light. Drops are audio snippets taken from previous broadcasts
