Spitfire Charlie are a 4-piece indie/rock band based in Leeds. The band consists of singer John Roberts, guitarist John Rennie, bassist Ben Kreczak and drummer Chris Hide, who all met in 2002 at Leeds Metropolitan University whilst studying Creative Music and Sound Technology. The band “draw on an array of contemporary influences but fortunately the results are an impressive mainstream pastiche that manages to retain authenticity in a fiercely competitive indie/rock market”.
