About Spit For Athena
Spit For Athena (sometimes called SFA) started as a three-piece band in Coldwater, Michigan. Levi Bailey (guitar/vocals), Melanie Cumming (bass), and Matt Budd (drums) started playing shows around local venues, such as Air Time Skate Park and Arcadia Brewery (in Battle Creek) and the B.E. Henry building in Marshall. After Melanie left the band, Mark Larmee (of Hornet) took her place. The group also added a fourth member, Dan Staddon. Spit For Athena continues to perform throughout Michigan and the Midwest.
