About Spinning Black Circle
Spinning Black Circle was formed in Umeå, Sweden in late 2003. Starting with three guitarists the search for members began. In early 2004, with a vocalist missing in the lineup, SBC entered the studio and recorded four instrumental tracks. The recording was sent out to different vocalists and after continuous mailing of audio files, SBC finally met with Joakim Åström. He joined SBC with his lyrics, but most of all, with his amazing voice. In early 2005 SBC recorded the Hymnus Ira EP for the first time with a full lineup.
