About Speed Dealer Moms
An acid collaboration between Aaron Funk (Venetian Snares) and John Frusciante, sometimes joined in by Chris McDonald, who's otherwise busy making custom analog synthesizers. Eventually, only two tracks surfaced from their numerous sessions over the course of four years, on the Speed Dealer Moms EP, released through Planet Mu in December 2010; as a digital download and limited-edition 10" vinyl single. ... Frusciante has stated on many occasions before that he was a fan of Venetian Snares.
