About Southwest Sunrise
Southwest Sunrise is a hard rock band from Turku, Finland. The band has been active since 2002 and the genre has been hard rock from the very beginning. Band members have somewhat different music listening preferences, ranging from Elvis and Charlie Parker to acts like Iron Maiden and Dream Theater. This breadth of influences brings flavours and nuances to arrangements and overall sound. However, the common source of inspiration for all five members is the hard rock scene of the seventies and eighties.
