About Southern Steel
Southern Steel was a band from Miami made up of Jim Goodman (guitar, voice), Spike Warner (guitar), Ed Olszewski (bass) and Greg Orsini (drums). The opportunity came when they sent a tape with 8 songs to a band contest sponsored by Craig Leon (Ramones, Blondie). They were winners and have the opportunity to record for the new company Earth Records. In 1974 I would see the light "Get On Through". They move to Nashville in search of fortune but Spike Warner and Greg Orsini leave the band.
