About Sonic Hz
Based in Moncton, New Brunswick, Sonic Hz is the brainchild of Canadian Italo-Disco/Retro Electro artist Nicholas Karl McNally. The process of McNally merging into his now alter ego began haphazardly, with the spontaneous purchase of legendary digital FM synthesizer, the YAMAHA DX7, in 2015. From a very young age, Nicholas had always possessed a passion for home recording, experimenting with various genres and instruments, as well as working with many different musicians from the local music scene.
