About sonatone
Began in Brighton UK circa 1999 through a chance small ads hook up between Duncan Walters (gtrs / vocals) and ex-pulaski swam refugee Nigel Stringfellow (bass). Together with the first of several drummers, Andy Pyne they formed the lo-fi alt rock band sonatone. Gigging around Brighton (on the very small but cult venue circuit) they became know as an trio of oddballs with a sideline in strangely noisy but melodic messes. Further changes of drummer
