About Somio
Somió is the the downtempo avenue of Kieron James' musical expressions. Deva, the title of Somió's first release, is also the name given to a superhuman being in traditional Buddhist cosmology. It means 'deity' in Hinduism and refers to the spiritual forces or beings behind nature for the New Age movement. So does he possess superhuman powers? Kieron isn't telling. But since Deva is a small community in the beautiful Spanish region of Asturias - the inspiration for many of the pieces featured - we've drawn our own conclusions!
