About Solera
Short-lived band in the early 1970s consisting of José Antonio Martín, José María Guzmán, Manuel Martín and Rodrigo García. An essential record by four exceptional artists, responsible for some of the best songs and most brilliant lyrics in the history of Spanish pop. Solera’s debut was a Spanish interpretation of the US West Coast sound, late-period Beatles and Badfinger. Although Solera had a brief life, later its members were part of other capital groups such as Nuevos Horizontes and Canóvas, Rodrigo, Adolfo y Guzmán.
