German: Sole Plaice war eine dreiköpfige Band aus Oldenburg und bestand aus Sänger Joko Weykopf, Schlagzeuger Hannes Rippka und dem Bassisten Uwe Bruns. Auf ihrer Debut-Platte "Event Horizon" hört man mal eingängige, mal progressive, energiegeladene und intelligente Musik mit Einflüssen aus Rock, Punk, Jazz, Pop und Grunge. Darüber hinterließen sie durch ihre beachtliche Bühnenpräsenz einen bleibenden Eindruck bei so manchem Konzertbesucher.
