About Solar Powered Sun Destroyer
After wanting to start a band together for a long time, Jimmy Rhodes and Justin Horenstein started jamming on ideas in late 2007. They found some members to start the band and played some really great shows. After not being happy with the original line-up, Jimmy and Justin revamped and regrouped a new SPSD 2.0 at the beginning of 2009 with close friends Ross Hurt, Dave Davies, and John Kneip. All of 2009 was full of writing, rehearsing and weekend stints along the mid-atlantic region.
