About Soft Opening
Soft Opening was formed in the winter of 08/09 in Asheville, NC. Members include Jamie Hepler (body of john the baptist, robots vs villages, ventricles), Patrick Jordan (lost sounds, badways, pelicans), and Tony Plichta (serpents, descolada, skullthunder). Acting as a trio they released a cdr entitled Pistillate in April 2009. After touring on Pistillate they took a shift towards psychedelia and drone/noise rock and added organist Ross Gentry (villages, robots vs villages, ventricles).
