sock jock is turning heads. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, sock jock grew up with music in her blood. Some of Taylor's earliest memories include leaving Sunday church services to go play the old, out-of-tune piano in the choir room. From those precious moments, her journey as a songwriter began. Taylor began writing music constantly, and formed her first “band” when she was 8. At the same age, she began playing the keyboard for her church’s praise team—her first real experience playing with other musicians.
