About Smilin at Oranges
Smilin at Oranges is the work of James from Sussex, England. Named after a tenuous link to a line in I'm Alan Partridge! A combination of software and hardware synths, drum machines and keyboards; tinkered, tweaked and clobbered with tonnes of FX to create an experimental electronica style branded 'Euphoric Doom' and occassionally 'Dark Experitronica'. All created on a cheap PC that makes dreadful buzzing noises at random! The first album 'Kerosene Drip' was packed full of ethereal, ambient, low-fi noise.
