Smilex are a great Rock 'n' Roll band - plain and fucking simple. Like all your favourite Rock 'N' Roll bands from the past but for here and now, not any fashionable year in the last century: Guitar, Bass, Drums, Vocals, Riffs, Hooks, Sweat, Blood, Sex, Drugs and Carnage! Since being escorted off site at a rather sedate local commercial radio station summer event in 2002 (their 2nd gig!), Smilex have been up and down the country playing riotous gigs with other rock and roll animals like Forward Russia
