smiles wrapped in gauze is a band from around baltimore, md. 2012 - 2020 (present). kyle - vocals, guitar, cello, piano, art. (cheesey sounding, "more in-depth" to strangers part: influenced by a unique blend of post-hardcore, screamo, alternative, grunge, industrial, post-rock, & more, with elements of experimental art & (occasionally) noise. coming from a background in screamo, punk & metal, but want to push past those musical boundaries, and make something more.
