Masta Rat and Doc Watchout are Slumdwellaz, a homemade rap group hailing from Laramie, WY and Seattle, WA. They specialize in funny, often perverted rhymes over obscure samples and furious beats. Complex, underground, lo-fi, and ridiculously white, the group takes cues from the Dead Milkmen, Wu-Tang Clan, Frank Zappa, Digital Underground, Cody ChesnuTT, The J.B.'s, Muddy Waters and more. The group has released five albums. Doc Watchout has two solo albums to his credit, and Masta Rat is also a member of Hijackalope.
