About Slow Runner
Slow Runner is an American art-pop band formed in 2003 in Charleston, SC. Comprising Michael Flynn, Josh Kaler, Jonny Gray, and Scott Baumil, the band got its start with Flynn's writing and playing in a few bands in high school. At college he majored in English and after collegewent to Boston for music school. He won 2nd place in a John Lennon songwriting contest. Also in Boston, he met fellow bandmate Josh Kaler. They moved to Charleston, SC, where they met local Danny Cassady, who joined Slow Runner on bass.
