Strother Benson, aka SLOTR is a songwriter/producer living in Oakland, California. He enjoys nothing more than to kick up his pennyloafers and obsessively craft elastic basslines layered with veils of zen simplicity. (Yung) Slotr began playing keyboards from a very early age. After years of extensive classical foundation, he moved in with master jazz organist John Mackay, where he undertook rigorous musical training that solidified his grasp of theory and structure.
